Is there any other ways to load into the Priiloader menu? Perhaps via the Priiloader app within The Homebrew Channel (if so, then my first follow up question would be redundant and I would keep Priiloader in the apps folder of my SD card anyway). SHOULD I INSTALL BOOTMII LETTERBOMB HOW TOI know how to access the Priiloader menu during boot (by holding down the reset button immediately after pressing the power on button until the Priiloader menu loads). SHOULD I INSTALL BOOTMII LETTERBOMB INSTALLI also removed the LetterBomb files from the SD Card after install so that the letter would not sit there in the Message Board, etc. Now that Priiloader has been installed, can I remove Priiloader from the apps folder on my SD card? Or are the files inside the Priiloader folder necessary to run the Priiloader menu/functions? For instance, after I installed d2x cIOS, I removed it from the apps folder so that it would not sit there in The Homebrew Channel. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read through this and assisting me.Įdit 1: My original posted question has been answered and I successfully installed Priiloader, but I have two follow up questions. Next I installed d2x cIOS, then USB Loader GX, then Configurable USB Loader in order to play backed up games. I then used BootMii (boot2) to successfully make a NAND backup. What happens when Priiloader is installed at the same time as BootMii (boot2)? Does the Wii load to BootMii (boot2) first, then Priiloader becomes an option on that screen or vice versa? Installing both BootMii (boot2) and Priiloader Question Answered I have an older Wii model and installed The Homebrew Channel as well as BootMii (boot2) via LetterBomb. If I am able to install Priiloader, how would this conflict with BootMii (boot2)? As of now when I turn on my Wii it initially loads to the BootMii (boot2) screen, then I can select where to go from there. I haven’t done anything else, so this is the current state of my Wii.Īt this point I have a few questions regarding Priiloader.Īm I still able to install Priiloader even though I’ve already completed the d2x cIOS installation (being that Priiloader states that it should not be installed on a modified IOS)? Basically I’m curious if my Wii is now considered to have a modified IOS after the d2x cIOS installation? I then installed all of my disc games onto a USB drive, and everything is working perfectly. Now we get to the main menu, where we can install everything. If you see Can only be installed as an IOS, you can only get Bootmii as IOS (which will give you NO brick protection on its own). If you see Can be installed, you can get Bootmii as boot2 (which gives the best brick protection there is). I then used BootMii (boot2) to successfully make a NAND backup. Depending on your wii, it will show different things behind Bootmii. I have an older Wii model and installed The Homebrew Channel as well as BootMii (boot2) via LetterBomb.
